Today’s kids are robbed of the opportunity of playing outside due to the safety risk associated with it. Us as adults spend so much time at work that we don’t get time to play. The 50 – 50 sock acts as a reminder that we need to have balance on our lives
For adults it means doing what we have to do to put food on the table and pay the bills. You can however only do this if you are healthy
For kids it means finding the fine line between physical activity and technology as if you don’t, you will be left behind when it comes to technological capability
The design is in the style of Minecraft and has icons of different sport equipment to signify the relationship between physical activity and exposure to technology.
The red and black colour scheme is a dedication to blake fischer who received his eastern province provincial colours
